TESTIMONIALS

Kihn, part of the Vossloh group, is active worldwide in railways manufacturing for tramways.

Given the growing pressure from the market and the strategy of the Vossloh group to emphasize on our corporate social responsibility, we decided to equip our Luxembourg factory with more than 2500 solar panels to reach a total capacity of 636 kWp, which allows us to cover almost 20% of our annual electricity consumption.

This project, particularly complex, as well given building heights as for quality and security constraints in our industrial plant, was managed with great care, on time and professionalism, through a third-party investment scheme. Great benefits thus for the company: immediate savings on our operational expenditures and image of an active player in sustainable development, without any investment!
Eric IungGeneral Manager of Kihn S.A, a subsidiary of Vossloh AG
In the food retail business, energy consumption management is a key element to secure our profitability as it can represent up to 30% of our net margin level.

After a major revamping of our electrical appliances by much more performing ones, we also wanted to benefit from additional energy savings as well as becoming an active player in the green economy. We analyzed different alternatives and then decided to sign with Enerdeal to install a 180 kWp solar power plant on unused land next to our building. This investment allows us to cover 35% of our annual electricity consumption and even up to 50% in summer! Definitely going towards an energetic independence, we simultaneously save an average 144 tons of CO² emissions every year: as much as the emission of 40 households.

So pleased with that first project, we have decided to copy/paste the experience with Enerdeal for our second retail shop. Results are up to our expectations: substantial savings and the benefit of having a green image to our clients!
