Enerdeal signs a major contract with Trafic (retail group) for solar rooftops and EV charging stations

Enerdeal is pleased to announce the signature of a frame contract with the Belgian retail group TRAFIC (discounter) for the installation, operation and financing of solar power plants on the roofs of TRAFIC shops, combined with the installation of electric vehicle charging stations.

The contract reflects the strategy of  TRAFIC to extensively deploy and promote a positive environmental impact throughout its real estate portfolio, while simultaneously being at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution booming up.

Combing solar production, self-consumption of each shop and real-time solar charging for the electric vehicle makes indeed most sense as well financially, technically as for the environment.

The first installations have just been finalized on the shops of Froyennes and Couvin; a larger roll-out is under development for the other shops across the country during the coming months.

Grégoire de Pierpont, CEO Enerdeal: “We are very proud to have been selected by Trafic for this strategic and ambitious project, quite unique in the country. Our value proposition “Smart Energy Today” providing our clients with an all-in solution meets a growing demand on the market. Combining solar and EV charging stations becomes now a must, which progressively includes also storage systems for some of our industrial clients. The energy revolution is definitely on the way!”
