The Monnet Innovation Center solar power plant in Louvain-La-Neuve.

This project is one of the largest solar power plant in Walloon Brabant. It represents 1MWp of installed capacity (10,000m2, 2500 solar panels), producing roughly 900 MWh/year, which corresponds to approximately 420 tons of C02 saved every year, i.e. the consumption of the equivalent of 200 households or also the equivalent of 4.5 Million (!) km by electric car. This project has been financed by Smart Energy Invest 2, our joint-venture with in BW and BW-Invest which aims to offer third party investment for solar energy in Walloon Brabant.
